(headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and led by President Takuma Endo), known for acclaimed titles such as What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord? and Way of the Samurai, AMEDAMA is available for download starting today on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, and Xbox.

The new feature, ‘Yushin’s Infinite Slash,’ has been added!
“Yushin’s Infinite Slash” is a battle mode where you aim for a high score by defeating waves of enemies until your HP reaches zero.

After completing the main story, the Yushin statue by the riverbank begins to glow, and you hear a voice calling Yushin to the “dream world.” By approaching the glowing statue and interacting with it, you can enter the dream world and start “Yushin’s Infinite Slash”.

Once the mode begins, you continue battling enemies and progressing to the right on the dream world map until your HP reaches zero. (In the dream world, you become Yushin himself, so possession is not possible.)

During “Yushin’s Infinite Slash”, after defeating powerful enemies, “demons” appear. You can talk to them to spend “Demon Coins” on meals, but the prices are quite high. While in the mode, your regular currency is converted into Demon Coins, which can only be used in the dream world. When you return to the main game, your original currency is restored. If you start “Yushin’s Infinite Slash” again, your current money will be converted into Demon Coins, but previous Demon Coins will not carry over.

Your score increases based on the number of attacks and enemies defeated during the battles, and your final score is recorded when your HP reaches zero. You can view your score history from the Records screen in the menu.

Profile: Yuko Komiyama
Composer and arranger. While at Capcom, Yuko worked as a composer and music director on the Monster Hunter and Mega Man X series before starting her freelance career in 2012. She has since composed tracks for Monster Hunter: World and its expansion, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, in addition to working on arrangements for Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster, and other titles. Yuko also creates music for commercials and anime series such as Cube-Shaped Pokémon on Cubie Island?!.
