IzanagiGames to exhibit at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2023! Upcoming Cinematic investigation adventure DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate – Definitive Edition for Switch, and side-scrolling, soul-shifting, sandbox action adventure AMEDAMA will be available to play at the booth!

The company will be handing out exclusive merchandise to attendees who play each game, follow the official X account, and join the company’s official Discord server!

IzanagiGames, Inc. (located in Koto-ku, Tokyo, and led by CEO/Producer Shinsuke Umeda) has announced details of the company’s exhibit at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2023. The event runs from Thursday September 21 until Sunday September 24 (JST) at Makuhari Messe. Attendees will be able to get their hands on demo versions of DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate – Definitive Edition (Nintendo Switch) and AMEDAMA, both due for release this year. In addition to this, the booth will feature a first look trailer, life-sized character cutouts and more for the in-development title Dark Auction: Hitler’s Estate. Plus, exclusive merchandise is available for attendees who test play each game, follow the IzanagiGames official X account, and join the company’s official Discord server! Be sure to drop by!

◆Test play title: DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate – Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch 

The multiple award-winning game, jointly developed with MyDearest (based in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, led by CEO Kento Kishigami), features character design by LAM, an ensemble of compelling characters voiced by a talented voice cast, a series theme performed by Hoshimachi Suisei (hololive), and episode themes from YuNi. Now, players will be able to experience the game’s epic story and investigation action re-envisaged for the Nintendo Switch as a “cinematic investigation action adventure.”

A playable version of the game, exclusive to TGS, will be available at the booth.

◆Test play title: AMEDAMA (PC – Steam)

AMEDAMA is a side-scrolling, soul-shifting sandbox action adventure game being developed in conjunction with ACQUIRE Corp. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and led by President Takuma Endo)—the company behind titles such as What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord?, and Way of the Samurai.

The game features character design from lack (Fate/Grand Order, Touken Ranbu), and music from Yuko Komiyama (Monster Hunter series). AMEDAMA’s historical Japanese setting is brought to life with a striking pixel-art style.

A demo version of AMEDAMA will be available to play at TGS, ahead of the game’s scheduled release later in the year.

◆Dark Auction: Hitler’s Estate – First look trailer & character cutout display

Dark Auction: Hitler’s Estate is a brand new “authentic mystery adventure” game with an original story/scenario written by Rika Suzuki (Trace Memories, Hotel Dusk: Room 215), and character design by Kohske (GANGSTA.). The title is due for release on Nintendo Switch™ and Steam® in 2024.

The Izanagi TGS booth will feature a first look trailer, along with a life-sized character cutout display. We’ll also be distributing a limited number of pamphlets.
