IzanagiGames announces business partnership with BiliBili, and raises 429.8 million yen via third-party allotment, bringing total funds procured to date to 798.6 million yen

IzanagiGames, Inc. (located in Koto-ku, Tokyo, Japan, and led by CEO/Producer Shinsuke Umeda) has announced that it has raised 429.8 million yen in funds via third-party allotment involving HODE HK Limited (BiliBili Group), COLOPL NEXT No.4 Fund Investment Partnership, and Akatsuki Inc. The increase in funds brings the total funds procured to date to 798.6 million yen.

IzanagiGames specializes in producing and publishing interactive entertainment, with a focus on showcasing Japanese games to the world. With the increase of funds, the company aims to bolster human resource management as well as improve the quality of their upcoming projects, with the ultimate goal of producing a series of hit titles. In addition, by entering into this business partnership with BiliBili Group, the company intends to further bolster their worldwide publishing efforts—with a focus on the Chinese mainland and Asia more broadly—and at the same time, continue to expand development of new, original IPs.

The major shareholders of the company after this third-party allotment are Shinsuke Umeda, COLOPL NEXT No.4 Fund Investment Partnership, Makers Fund, NetEase, BiliBili Group, and Akatsuki Inc.
