Escape adventure and bullet hell game, Yurukill: The Calumniation Games’ official website is now live! The game is based on an original story by Homura Kawamoto (known for Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler), and features a scenario by his younger brother, Hikaru Muno. Development of the shoot ‘em up elements was handled by G.rev.

IzanagiGames, Inc. (located in Koto-ku, Tokyo, Japan, and led by CEO/Producer Shinsuke Umeda) has announced the launch of the official website for Yurukill: The Calumniation Games, an escape adventure and bullet hell shoot ‘em up game. The participation of Hikaru Muno, younger brother of Homura Kawamoto (known for Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler and the author of the game’s original story) in writing the game’s scenario, and their decision to postpone the release of the game until spring, 2022 has also been announced. The release was originally scheduled for 2021.

◆Homura Kawamoto’s profile

Homura Kawamoto made his debut with “Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler” in 2014, in the magazine Gangan Joker. The Kakegurui series, including spin-offs, has sold over 6.2 million copies, and has been adapted into a variety of projects including anime, movies, and games. Kawamoto has worked on original scenarios and planning for numerous titles, such as “The War of Greedy Witches,” and “Greatest M” (co-written with Hikaru Muno). He has also passed the national bar exam in Japan.

Hikaru Muno is the younger brother of Homura Kawamoto, and made his debut with a job search manual called “Bonjin Naitei Senryaku” (Job Hunting Strategies for Average People) in 2012. He has worked on numerous projects including original scenarios for comics, novels, how-to-books, board games, and is the author of the Kakegurui series’ light novels, “Kakegurui Trip” and “Kakegurui Joker.” He has also worked on “Build Divide” and “High Card” (both co-written with Homura Kawamoto) and a board game called “Hen-na Kanji” (Strange Chinese Characters).

Hiro Kiyohara is a manga artist and illustrator. He is best known for the comic version of “Another,” among other titles. He has worked on illustration for a range of novels, including “All-Round Appraiser Q” and the “Detective versus Detectives” series. He is a character designer for the PS4 game “Valkyria Revolution” and is currently writing the manga series “The Decagon House Murders” for the monthly manga magazine, Monthly Afternoon.
