Tune in tomorrow at 20:00, May 26 (JST) as we celebrate the game’s release on niconico Live and YouTube Live via the IzanagiGames official channel!
IzanagiGames, Inc. (located in Koto-ku, Tokyo, Japan, and led by CEO/Producer Shinsuke Umeda) has announced that Keiichi Oka (Voice: Hiroki Yasumoto), one of the characters from Yurukill: The Calumniation Games, will be featured on the entire back cover of the Weekly Famitsu June 9, 2022 Issue (Published May 26) on the game’s release date in Japan: May 26, 2022 (JST). Escape adventure and bullet hell shoot ‘em up Yurukill: The Calumniation Games is based on an original story by Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler author Homura Kawamoto, and features a scenario by Hikaru Muno. The game’s shoot ‘em up sections were developed by G.rev.
◆ Who is Keiichi Oka (Voice: Hiroki Yasumoto)?
Keiichi is a diehard fan still devoted to Hanaka despite her serving a prison sentence. He is easily excitable when it comes to Hanaka, but gentlemanly, and respectful of the distance between fan and pop star. He is taking part in the Yurukill Games to help Hanaka prove her innocence.

An escape adventure and bullet hell shoot ‘em up game based on an original story by Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler author, Homura Kawamoto, with a scenario by his younger brother, Hikaru Muno. Features character design from Hiro Kiyohara, known for his work on Valkyria Revolution, and a soundtrack from Yuko Komiyama, who worked on the Monster Hunter series. The shoot ‘em up elements were developed by veteran studio G.rev.

◆ Homura Kawamoto’s profile
Homura Kawamoto made his debut with Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler in 2014, in the magazine Gangan Joker. The Kakegurui series, including spin-offs, has sold over 6.2 million copies, and has been adapted into a variety of projects including anime, movies, and games. Kawamoto has worked on original scenarios and planning for numerous titles, such as The War of Greedy Witches, and Greatest M (co-written with Hikaru Muno). He has also passed the national bar exam in Japan.
◆ Hikaru Muno’s profile
Hikaru Muno is the younger brother of Homura Kawamoto, and made his debut with a job search manual called Bonjin Naitei Senryaku (Job Hunting Strategies for Average People) in 2012. He has worked on numerous projects including original scenarios for comics, novels, how-to-books, board games, and is the author of the Kakegurui series’ light novels, Kakegurui Trip and Kakegurui Joker. He has also worked on Build Divide and High Card (both co-written with Homura Kawamoto) and a board game called Hen-na Kanji (Strange Chinese Characters).
◆ Hiro Kiyohara’s profile
Hiro Kiyohara is a manga artist and illustrator. He is best known for the comic version of Another, among other titles. He has worked on illustration for a range of novels, including All-Round Appraiser Q and the Detective versus Detectives series. He is a character designer for the PS4 game Valkyria Revolution and is currently writing the manga series The Decagon House Murders for the monthly manga magazine, Monthly Afternoon.
